YouTube via VLC, 3rd attempt

Well, YouTube changed itself a while ago, and I fixed my script, but was too lazy to upload it…

But now I did, here it is: vlcflvplayer.user.js

    YouTube changed again.
Had to change “playerDiv” to “watch-player-div” in the script to get it to work again.

Please, please, pleas, I am desperate to get this to work, how did you get youtube to stream full screen to VLC on your second screen. It seems that the youtube flash object links are hidden.
So I don’t know what to enter in the Network Stream box. How can I get this to work. Also does anyone know how to stream your youtube favorites to VLC, so that I can play contiguous full screen youtube vids on my second screen, or optionally build a VLC playlist that will play contiguous youtube vids.

I’m trying to get this to work with Portable Firefox and Portable VLC. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks for this great script. Is there a way to set a default audio volume? I’ve tried it with the set_volume function call but I’m not an expert in javascript (putting it mildly).
    TIA.
